As per reports, unionized education sector workers affiliated with Snes-FSU unions (Main Union in Middle and High Schools), General Confederation of Labour (CGT) and Democratic Unitary Solidarity (SUD) plan to protest in Paris on Tuesday (06 February).

The unions also called for a new strike action from Tuesday (06 February) to defend salaries and oppose educational policy at the college.

• A demonstration is planned for 1400 hours local time in Paris, leaving from Place de la Sorbonne (5th arrondissement), towards the Ministry of Education.
• A hearing will be held at 1630 hours local time on Tuesday (06 February) at the Palais Bourbon, between the deputies of the Cultural Affairs and Education Committee of the National Assembly and the Minister of Education and Sports Amélie Oudéa-Castéra to report on her action on subjects related to National Education.
