As per reports, the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) stated that they would carry out protests on Friday (25 October) at the Azad Maidan in Mumbai against unsafe working environment’ due to harassment and assault by some of the beneficiaries of Ladki Bahin Yojana.
They would meet the officials of the Indian Bank Association and Maharashtra administration and police. Moreover, the banks in Maharashtra would observe a strike on 16 November demanding adequate security because of issues involving the implementation of the Mukhya Mantri Ladki Bahin Yojana.
