As per reports, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has imposed an immediate travel ban on United Arab Emirates (UAE) nationals travelling to the Republic of Mali as of Tuesday (09 December), due to the ongoing developments in the country.

• MoFA has also urged Emirati nationals currently in Mali to depart and return to the UAE at the earliest opportunity.
• The Ministry has emphasised the importance of complying with official instructions and maintaining the highest levels of caution.
