Two major international conferences to be hosted in Delhi from Thursday (28 May) to Tuesday (02 June); increased security deployment expected

As per reports, two major international conferences will be held in Delhi from Thursday (28 May) to Tuesday (02 June). Both conferences will feature a large number of foreign dignitaries.

• The Ministry of External Affairs informed that India will host the fourth India-Africa Forum Summit (IAFS-IV) on Sunday (31 May) in New Delhi in collaboration with the African Union Commission. The summit will start with the Senior Officials’ Meeting on Thursday (28 May), the Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on Friday (29 May) and will conclude with the Leaders’ Summit on Sunday (31 May).
• India is hosting the first International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) Summit on Monday-Tuesday (01-02 June), in New Delhi. The primary venue for the event is the Bharat Mandapam, with additional activities hosted at the Hotel Taj Palace.
