As per reports, two schools in Delhi – the Delhi Public School (DPS) in RK Puram and the GD Goenka Public School in Paschim Vihar – received bomb threats via mail on Monday (09 December) morning. Students were sent back home after the threats, while Delhi Police, the bomb disposal squad (BDS), and Delhi Fire Service (DFS) conducted inspections of the school premises.

After a thorough inspection of both schools, the threat was ruled to be a hoax. Authorities are currently probing the source and origins of the threat.
