Travel restrictions scheduled in Buenos Aires on Sunday (21 September)

As per reports, travel restrictions have been scheduled in Buenos Aires on Sunday (21 September) due to the Buenos Aires International Marathon.

• The northbound lane of Avenida Presidente Figueroa Alcorta is scheduled to be fully closed, between Avenida Dorrego and Julio Argentino Noble from 1600 hours local time (1900 hours UTC) on Saturday (20 September) to 1830 hours local time (2130 hours UTC) on Sunday (21 September).
• Avenida Presidente Figueroa Alcorta is scheduled to be partially closed, between Avenida Dorrego and Julio Argentino Noble from 0700 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) to 2000 hours local time (2300 hours UTC) on Saturday (20 September) and 1831 hours local time (2131 hours UTC) to 2000 hours local time (2300 hours UTC) on Sunday (21 September).
• Intermittent closures can be expected between Avenida Presidente Figueroa Alcorta and Avenida Dorrego, between Avenida Dorrego and Julio Argentino Noble from 0700 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) to 1300 hours local time (1600 hours UTC) on Sunday (21 September).
• According to reports, Buenos Aires is expected to be partially blocked from Boca Juniors’ stadium to River Plate’s, passing along the entire waterfront of the river.
• Closures can be expected on the following routes during the marathon from 0700 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) until 1300 hours local time (1600 hours UTC) on Sunday (21 September):
• Avenida Figueroa Alcorta, Avenida Guillermo Udaondo, Avenida Del Libertador, Avenida Sarmiento, Carlos Pellegrini, Avenida Corrientes, Avenida Leandro N. Alem, Avenida Rivadavia, Avenida Roque Sáenz Peña in North and Central Zone.
• Avenida de Mayo, Avenida Paseo Colón, Avenida Almirante Brown, Avenida Don Pedro de Mendoza, Avenida Elvira Rawson de Dellepiane, Avenida España, Avenida Dr. Tristán Achával Rodríguez, Avenida Antártida Argentina, Autopista Illia in South Zone and Puerto Madero.
