As per reports, official alerts from the Administration de la nature et des forêts (ANF) and local communal administrations have confirmed organised driven hunts (Klappjuegd or chasse en battue) scheduled for Wednesday (07 January) in the rural and forested regions of Niederanven and Steinsel, which may lead to travel disruptions in the area.

The report states that these operations involve groups of hunters and dogs moving through forested areas to drive game (typically wild boar and deer) toward stationary hunters.
