As per reports, extensive construction work by Deutsche Bahn (DB) is expected to cause significant disruptions to rail traffic between Karlsruhe and Basel from Friday (18 April) to Sunday (27 April).

• Albtal-Verkehrs-Gesellschaft (AVG) tram services (S7, S71, S81, S8) are fully or partially cancelled between Karlsruhe and Rastatt/Achern.
• DB Regio services (RE40, RB44, RE2) face route modifications, terminations, or cancellations.
• Replacement buses will operate at reduced frequencies (every 20-40 minutes during the day, hourly at night).
