As per reports, tram lines three and four are scheduled to resume services along Špitálska Street from Saturday (29 August), following a summer closure. The services are scheduled to stop at the rebuilt Centrum tram stop near the Prior department store and Tesco.
• Tram line one is scheduled to operate on a temporary diversion from SNP Square while renovation works under the Živé námestie project continue in central Bratislava. The diverted route is scheduled to operate through the tram tunnel beneath Bratislava Castle and along the Danube embankment towards Šafárikovo Square before continuing towards the main railway station.
• The Bratislava public transport operator Dopravný podnik Bratislava (DPB) is also scheduled to restore its standard school year timetable from Tuesday (01 September). Several routes are scheduled to receive increased service frequencies including bus routes 61 70 83 84 and 27.
• The route changes are associated with ongoing renovation works at SNP Square and Kamenné Square under the Živé námestie project. The temporary diversion of tram line 1 is expected to remain in place until the relevant renovation works are completed. The rebuilt Centrum stop on Špitálska Street is also scheduled to resume service for tram lines three and four.
