As per reports, police authorities are expected to conduct the Active Shield railway security operation across the Bratislava Region on Friday (26 June) as part of a coordinated campaign organized by the European Association of Railway Police Forces (RAILPOL).
• Reports indicate that police officers from the Railway Police Department and the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Bratislava are expected to conduct increased patrols on passenger trains, railway stations, and surrounding areas across Bratislava I, Bratislava II, Bratislava III, Bratislava IV, and Bratislava V districts.
• Reportedly, the operation is expected to focus on ensuring compliance with railway safety regulations, preventing unlawful conduct by passengers and railway personnel, detecting theft, addressing illegal migration, and supporting the search for wanted persons and stolen property.
• Reports suggest that an increased police presence, identity checks, and security inspections may be observed at railway stations and onboard passenger trains throughout the Bratislava Region during the operation period.
