As per reports, during the morning hours of Saturday (01 March), a freight train (SH62) traveling from South to North collided with a truck on the North-South railway through Duc Lien commune, Vu Quang district, Ha Tinh province.
• The collision resulted in derailment of the locomotive and three rear cars, along with significant damage to railway infrastructure, as dozens of meters of rail were lifted off the roadbed.
• The accident has caused disruptions and delays in rail services along the North-South railway near Hoa Duyet station, with authorities working to restore operations.
