As per reports, late-night rail services between Colchester and Walton are expected to be disrupted due to scheduled engineering works between 10 and 12 November.
• From 10 November to 12 November, the 2315 hours local time (2215 hours UTC) service from Colchester to Walton is scheduled to be diverted to Clacton.
• Passengers may then complete the journey to Walton via a rail replacement bus, which will call at Kirby Cross and Frinton before terminating at Walton, with a total journey time of approximately one hour 10 minutes.
• Additionally, the 2330 hours local time (2230 hours UTC) train from Liverpool Street to Clacton is scheduled to first travel to Colchester, after which a rail replacement bus is expected to transport passengers to Clacton, taking approximately two hours 15 minutes to complete the journey.
