As per the Sri Lankan Police Media Division, vehicular traffic will be restricted on Friday (21 November) due to a public gathering at the Ananda Samarakoon Open Air Theatre in Nugegoda, Colombo. Traffic movement will be limited from 1400 hours (local time) until the end of the meeting on the stretch of Nawala Road between the High Level Junction near the Nugegoda Flyover and the Nawala Roundabout.

Authorities have issued the following alternative routes to ease movement during the restricted period:

• Vehicles travelling from Colombo or Kohuwala toward Nawala and Pitakotte via Nugegoda may turn left from Gamsabha Junction to proceed toward Mirihana and Nawala using High Level Road.
• Vehicles moving from Pitakotte or Nawala toward High Level Road through Nugegoda may travel via Nawala Junction, continue to Gamsabha Junction, and proceed through Delkanda Junction to rejoin High Level Road.
• Vehicles travelling from Maharagama toward Nugegoda along High Level Road may continue through Gamsabha Junction to access alternative internal roads as directed by police personnel.
