Traffic restrictions announced for ‘La Loma Lechon Festival’ in Quezon City on Sunday (17 May)

As per reports, Quezon City will implement road closures and traffic rerouting in La Loma on Sunday (17 May), ahead of the 2026 La Loma Lechon Festival.

• The city government said several roads will be closed from 0000 to 2300 hours (local time), including N.S. Amoranto Street corner Baco Street, Mariveles Street, Halcon Street, Calavite Street, Calavite Annex, Blumentritt Road, and A. Bonifacio Avenue corner Calavite Street.
• Additional closures will be implemented from 1500 to 1400 hours for the Lechon Parade kick-off along CDC corner Ipo Street, Gen. Tinio Street, Abao Street, Bulusan Street, Labo Street, Isarog Street, Iriga Street, Dr. Alejos Street, and Iba Street.
• From 1500 to 2300 hours, traffic restrictions will also be enforced at CDC corner Angelo Street, Ipo Street corner Angelo Street, and N.S. Amoranto Street corner Ipo Street for the festival’s boodle fight activity.
• The city government said traffic rerouting schemes will be in place for affected motorists, while designated parking areas have been prepared for festival participants and visitors.
• Personnel from the Traffic and Transport Management Department (TTMD) and the Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) will be deployed to manage traffic flow and maintain order in the area.
