Traffic restrictions announced along expressways in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei between Thursday-Wednesday (01-07 October)

According to the Beijing Traffic Management Bureau, dangerous goods transport vehicles will be prohibited from operating on expressways across Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei during the National Day holiday from 0000 hours (local time) on Thursday (01 October) to 2359 hours (local time) on Wednesday (07 October). The restrictions have been introduced to ensure highway traffic safety during the holiday period.

• In Beijing, all dangerous goods transport vehicles, including vehicles holding Road Transport Permits for Highly Toxic Chemicals, will be prohibited from travelling on expressways within the municipality.
• In Tianjin, all dangerous goods transport vehicles, including vehicles holding designated time, route and speed reporting certificates and Road Transport Permits for Highly Toxic Chemicals, will be prohibited from driving on expressways within the municipality.
• In Hebei, all dangerous goods transport vehicles, including vehicles holding Road Transport Permits for Highly Toxic Chemicals, will be prohibited from driving on expressways across the province.
