As per reports, Cork City Council has announced multiple road closures and stop/go traffic management systems across Cork City from Monday (10 August) to Friday (14 August) facilitate watermain, wastewater, footpath, sewer and road reinstatement works.
• Beaufort Park in Turners Cross is expected to be closed from 0700 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) to 1900 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) on Monday (10 August), between St Anne’s Park and Curragh Road, for drinking water and wastewater connection works.
• Magazine Road is expected to be closed from 0700 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) on Monday (10 August) to 1900 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) on Friday (14 August), between St Clare’s Avenue and Highfield Avenue, for watermain upgrade works.
• Blackrock Road is expected to be closed from 0800 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) on Monday (10 August) to 1700 hours local time (1600 hours UTC) on Friday (14 August), between Beaumont Drive and Church Road, for public footpath upgrade works.
• A two-way stop/go system is expected to operate on Upper Glanmire Road in Ballinvriskig from 0700 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) to 1900 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) from Monday (10 August) to Friday (14 August), for road crossing service installation works.
• A three-way stop/go system is expected to operate on Cooney’s Lane in Grange from 0800 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) to 1600 hours local time (1500 hours UTC) from Monday (10 August) to Friday (21 August), at its junction with Bellevue Park, for footpath construction.
• A five-way stop/go system is expected to operate on Togher Road at its junction with Lehenaghmore Industrial Estate from 0700 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) to 1900 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) on Monday (10 August), for foul sewer upgrade works.
• A two-way stop/go system is expected to operate on Rochestown Road from 1930 hours local time (1830 hours UTC) on Monday (10 August) to 0600 hours local time (0500 hours UTC) on Tuesday (11 August) for permanent reinstatement works.
• A six-way stop/go system is expected to operate on Infirmary Road in Ballintemple from 1900 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) to 0700 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) from Monday (10 August) to Friday (14 August) for watermain rehabilitation works.
• A three-way stop/go system is expected to operate on South Douglas Road at its junction with Curragh Road from 1900 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) on Monday (10 August) to 0700 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) on Tuesday (11 August), for tie-in works to a newly installed watermain.
• A three-way stop/go system is expected to operate on the R639 in Knocknahorgan, Glanmire, from 0700 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) to 1900 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) rom Monday (10 August) to Friday (14 August), for watermain upgrade works.
• A four-way stop/go system is expected to operate at Tara Lawn and Glasheen Road from 0700 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) to 1900 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) from Monday (10 August) to Friday (14 August), for watermain rehabilitation works.
