Traffic measures announced for Aquathlon event in Quezon city for Sunday (17 May)

As per reports, traffic measures have been announced for the National Age Group Aquathlon 2026 event in Quezon city on Sunday (17 May).

Traffic slowdowns and road restrictions are expected around the Amoranto Square Complex in the city and the following are the additional details:

• Traffic measures will be implemented from 0001 to 1200 hours (local time) on Sunday (17 May) in streets surrounding the Amoranto Sports Complex to give way to the sporting event.
• Don A. Roces Avenue eastbound (South AA to Scout Santiago), South AA (Scout Chuatoco to Don A. Roces Avenue), and Scout Reyes (Scout Chuatoco to Don A. Roces Avenue) will be closed to vehicles during the stated period.
• Motorists bound for Quezon Avenue westbound are advised to take Scout Tobias or Scout Chuatoco Avenue, while those heading toward Tomas Morato may use Scout Chuatoco Avenue or Scout Lozano as alternative routes.
• From 0300 to 1000 hours (local time), one-side parking will be enforced along Don A. Roces Avenue westbound (South AA to Scout Santiago), Scout Chuatoco Avenue (South AA to Scout Santiago), and Scout Reyes (Scout Chuatoco to Don A. Roces Avenue).
