The Beijing Traffic Management Bureau announced that the temporary traffic management measures implemented for the flood storage capacity improvement project on Pudong North Road in Mentougou District have been extended until Tuesday (16 March 2027).

The restrictions apply to the section of Pudong North Road between the intersection with Xiyuan Road and the intersection with Hedi Road.

• During the extension period, motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles, and pedestrians will continue to be prohibited from passing through the affected section to facilitate construction activities and maintain road safety.
• Authorities have advised road users to use alternative routes, including Xiyuan Road, Deyuan South Road, and Hedi Road, while travelling through the area.
