As per reports, the Municipal Institute of Urban Mobility (Instituto Municipal de Mobilidade Urbana-IMMU) has implemented a new one-way road system in the Bairro da União neighbourhood, in the Centro-Sul zone of Manaus, Amazonas, effective from Saturday (18 July).

• Rua Desembargador Gaspar Guimarães will operate in two configurations. Between Avenida Djalma Batista and Rua 2 de Agosto, the road will operate with two-way traffic.
• From the junction with Rua two de Agosto through to Rua 45, with exit onto Avenida Ivanete Machado, the road will operate as a one-way street in the direction of the Parque 10 de Novembro neighbourhood.
• Rua two de Agosto will operate as a one-way street between Rua Pedro Dias Lemos and Avenida Djalma Batista, directing traffic towards Avenida Djalma Batista.
• Access to Rua two de Agosto will require entry into the Bairro da União via Rua Maria Amélia da Silva, followed by Rua Zulma de Azevedo, which will also operate as a one-way street towards Rua Pedro Dias Lemos, before connecting to Rua two de Agosto.
• Motorists travelling from the Parque 10 de Novembro neighbourhood towards Avenida Djalma Batista are to follow the new route via Rua Maria Amélia da Silva, Rua Zulma de Azevedo, Rua Pedro Dias Lemos, and Rua two de Agosto.
