As per reports, traffic diversions will take place on Le Loi Boulevard, spanning Saigon Ward and Ben Thanh Ward in Ho Chi Minh City, to facilitate the inauguration of the street’s urban renewal project on Wednesday (31 December).

The details are as follows:

• Car-only lanes on Le Loi Boulevard, from Nguyen Trung Truc Street and Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street to Phan Boi Chau Street, are scheduled to be reserved exclusively for event-related activities from 0000 hours (local time) on Tuesday (30 December) until 1800 hours (local time) on Wednesday (31 December).
• The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for the morning of Wednesday (31 December), followed by dismantling activities and site clearance from 1200 hours (local time) until 1800 hours (local time) on the same day.
• During this period, road users are advised to avoid the affected section by using the mixed-traffic lane on Le Loi Boulevard or alternative parallel routes, including Ham Nghi Street and Le Thanh Ton Street.
• Intersecting roads connecting with Le Loi Boulevard, such as Pasteur Street, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, and Phan Boi Chau Street, are scheduled to remain open to traffic as usual.
• Motorists traveling through the area are advised to reduce speed, comply with instructions issued by traffic police and on-site personnel, and strictly observe traffic signals.
• Stopping or parking on the roadway of Le Loi Boulevard, including the mixed-traffic lane and intersections, is prohibited during the adjustment period, as it may obstruct traffic flow.
• Based on actual conditions, traffic police are scheduled to implement flexible traffic control and diversion measures to limit disruption to travel and daily activities for residents along the route and in surrounding areas.
