As per reports, the Chennai Traffic Police has announced that traffic will be diverted in T Nagar area from tomorrow till 01 December due to Metro rail work.

• The construction of the entry and exit system of Panagal Park Metro Rail Station will be completed at the junction of Venkatnarayana Road and Sivagnanam Street. It is proposed to be carried out near Kalyana Mandapam.
• Accordingly, vehicles will not be allowed to proceed from Theagaraya Road to Venkatnarayana Salai via Sivagnanam Street. These vehicles can go straight through Thyagaraya Road and Thanigasalam Road to reach their destination by reaching Venkatnarayana Salai.
• For the convenience of the locals, vehicles will be diverted from Theagaraya Road via Sivagnanam Street to JYM. Motorists will be allowed to proceed in both directions till the marriage hall.
