According to the Delhi Traffic Police, traffic will remain affected near Rajghat on Saturday (21 February) due to official exigencies. The restrictions will be in place from 1000 hours (local time) to 1200 hours (local time). Traffic diversions may be implemented on a need basis at key junctions in the vicinity.
Traffic restrictions, regulation and diversions may be imposed on major stretches and surrounding roads near Rajghat during the affected hours. Commuters travelling via central Delhi corridors are likely to experience temporary congestion and movement restrictions.
• Traffic may be diverted on need basis from ITO Chowk, Delhi Gate, Guru Nanak Chowk, Shanti Van Chowk, Rajghat DTC Depot and IP Flyover.
• Traffic restrictions, regulation and diversions are expected to be imposed between 1000 hours (local time) and 1200 hours (local time) on ITO Chowk to Delhi Gate via BSZ Marg; Shanti Van Chowk till IP Flyover; Asaf Ali Road from Delhi Gate to N.S. Marg; Shanti Van Chowk to Nishad Raj Marg; Guru Nanak Chowk to Ranjeet Singh Flyover; and Rajghat DTC Depot to Ring Road By-Pass.
• Uninterrupted movement of emergency vehicles will be facilitated.
