Traffic diversion announced in Central Delhi from Saturday (22 November) till Tuesday (25 November)

The Delhi Traffic Police has announced traffic diversion on Moti Lal Nehru Marg and Dara Shikoh Road from Saturday (22 November) till Tuesday (25 November) in phases.

The following traffic guidelines have been issued:

• From 2100 hours (local time) on Saturday (22 November) till 0600 hours (local time) on Sunday (23 November), vehicular movement will be restricted on Moti Lal Nehru Marg from Sunehri Bagh Masjid to South Fountain. Vehicles will be diverted from Sunehri Bagh Masjid and South Fountain roundabouts.
• No vehicle movement will be allowed on the above stretch during the restriction period. Parking or halting of vehicles will not be permitted. Unauthorised parked vehicles will be towed and prosecuted. Towed vehicles will be stationed at Traffic Pit Mata Sundari Marg.
• Commuters heading towards Vijay Chowk may use Kartavya Path & Dara Shikoh Road.
• From 2100 hours (local time) on Monday (24 November) till 0600 hours (local time) on Tuesday (25 November), vehicular movement on Dara Shikoh Road will be restricted.
• Traffic towards Vijay Chowk will be diverted via Rajaji Marg – Kamaraj Marg – Sunehri Masjid – Moti Lal Nehru Marg. Or from Rafi Marg towards Kartavya Path. Alternate travel access will be available via Moti Lal Nehru Marg, Rafi Marg & Kartavya Path.
• No vehicle movement or roadside parking will be permitted on Dara Shikoh Road. Wrongly parked vehicles will be towed and prosecuted. Towed vehicles will be parked at the Traffic Pit, Mata Sundari Marg.
