As per reports, multiple motorway closures have been scheduled across the Westphalia region in North Rhine Westphalia affecting sections of A1 A42 A43 and A44 from Friday (06 March).

• The A1 motorway between Ladbergen and Lengerich in the Steinfurt district is scheduled to be closed in both directions starting Friday (06 March) at 2000 hours local time (1900 hours UTC). The closure is expected to remain in place until Monday (09 March) at 0500 hours local time (0400 hours UTC).
• Additional ramp closures are scheduled to occur with the Lengerich access ramp toward Dortmund and the Ladbergen access ramp toward Münster closed from Friday (06 March) at 2000 hours local time (1900 hours UTC) until Monday (09 March) at 0500 hours local time (0400 hours UTC).
• The closure is part of infrastructure works to lift large prefabricated steel components on bridge crossings along the route between Münster Nord interchange and Lotte Osnabrück interchange.
• The A42 motorway between Herne Crange and Herne Baukau is also scheduled to be closed beginning Friday (06 March) at 2200 hours local time (2100 hours UTC).
• Bridge construction works at Kreuz Herne interchange is scheduled to affect traffic connections from A43 toward Münster to A42 toward Dortmund and from A42 toward A43.
• In eastern Ruhr area, the A44 motorway between Unna Ost interchange and Kreuz Werl interchange toward Kassel is scheduled to be closed starting Friday (06 March) at 2200 hours local time (2100 hours UTC).
• The A44 closure toward Kassel between Unna Ost and Kreuz Werl is expected to remain until Monday (09 March) at 0500 hours local time (0400 hours UTC) to allow renewal of road crossings at a bridge structure.
• The same section of A44 between Unna Ost and Kreuz Werl is scheduled to be closed again the following weekend from Friday (13 March) at 2200 hours local time (2100 hours UTC) until Monday (16 March) at 0500 hours local time (0400 hours UTC) to complete the works.
