• On Saturday (16 May), race activities are scheduled between 0500 hours local time (0800 hours UTC) and 1300 hours local time (1600 hours UTC), resulting in multiple street closures and parking restrictions in central Halifax.
• On Sunday (17 May), the marathon and half-marathon events are anticipated to cause wider transport disruptions across Halifax and Dartmouth.
• The Macdonald Bridge is scheduled to close from 0530 hours local time (0830 hours UTC) until 1130 hours local time (1430 hours UTC) to facilitate marathon operations on Sunday (17 May).

• Authorities stated that controlled vehicle crossings may be permitted intermittently when runners are not occupying road sections.
• Additional congestion is anticipated on Sunday evening around downtown Halifax due to Game two of the National Lacrosse League championship series between Halifax Thunderbirds and Toronto Rock at Scotiabank Centre.
• Increased pedestrian and vehicular movement near the arena district is expected before and after the event.
• Separately, traffic disruptions are also anticipated on Saturday (16 May) along Highway 102 and Highway 104 due to a planned ‘slow roll’ protest organised by Stand United Canada.
• The convoy is scheduled to begin at the Enfield Irving Big Stop and proceed toward the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border.
• Organisers reportedly intend to slow traffic movement in both highway lanes while protesting federal spending policies and proposed legislation including Bill C-9.
• Key affected locations and closure zones associated with marathon operations include Barrington Street, Spring Garden Road, Bell Road, North Park Street, Cogswell Street, Brunswick Street, South Street, Coburg Road, Lower Water Street, Upper Water Street, Robie Street, Quinpool Road, University Avenue, Nantucket Avenue, Alderney Drive, Wyse Road and segments surrounding Halifax Common, Emera Oval and Dartmouth waterfront sectors.
