As per reports, a gas leak prompted a street closure in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside on Thursday morning (21 August). The incident was reported in the morning hours on Abbott Street between West Hastings and Cordova streets.

Repair works are currently underway; however, the expected time of their termination and the timeline for full reopening are at the time of the reporting, unknown.
