As per reports, motorists have been experiencing heavy traffic congestion on Highway 1 since 1650 hours (local time) following a traffic accident involving 3 cars on Friday (27 June).

Emergency responders, including the RCMP, the fire department, and BC Emergency Health Services, attended the scene, and the westbound lanes are expected to remain closed while the investigation and cleanup process lasts.
