As per reports, vehicle traffic on the Attiki Odos is currently restricted following a traffic accident at around 1400 hours (local time) on Friday (30 May).

• As per the official announcement by the Attica Highway authority, the incident took place at the Heraklion interchange, in the direction towards Elefsina. The accident involved a collision between two vehicles.
• As a result of the accident, traffic delays ranging from 20 to 25 minutes are being reported on the route towards Elefsina, specifically from the Penteli interchange to the Metamorfosi interchange. The restrictions are contributing to prolonged travel times for commuters during peak hours.
• The collision involved two vehicles at the Heraklion junction. No injuries have been reported.
• Delays of approximately 15 to 20 minutes are also being observed on the Elefsina-bound route between the Plakentias interchange and the Metamorfosi interchange, indicating continued congestion along the westbound segment of the highway.
