According to reports, from 1600 hours on Saturday (01 February), a traffic accident occurred on the road leading to Can Tho Bridge, resulting in severe congestion along the route from Cai Tac intersection to Can Tho toll station, extending approximately 10 kilometers.

The traffic jam persisted for several hours as vehicles moved slowly on Saturday (01 February). Despite the prompt response of traffic police, the traffic congestion remained due to Tet (Vietnamese traditional Lunar New Year) holiday rush.
