As per reports, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced temporary traffic blocks on the Hinduhrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Mahamarg (Highway) between Friday (09 January) and Tuesday (13 January) to facilitate the installation of Highway Traffic Management System gantries at multiple identified chainage locations in Amravati district.
The works will be executed in phased intervals, during which vehicular movement will be completely halted for short durations on either the Mumbai-bound or Nagpur-bound carriageways at specified locations and timings. The details are as follows:
• On Friday (09 January), Mumbai-bound traffic near Chainage 120.300 (Manjarkhed Village, Chandur Railway) and Chainage 125.400 (Dhotra Village) will be stopped between 1500 hours (local time) and 1600 hours (local time), while Nagpur-bound traffic at Chainage 123.300 will be halted between 1200 hours (local time) and 1300 hours (local time).
• On Saturday (10 January), Nagpur-bound traffic at Chainage 108.600 (Vadhona Village, Dhamangaon) will be stopped between 1500 hours (local time) and 1600 hours (local time), while Mumbai-bound traffic at Chainage 130.400 (Khambala Village) will be halted between 1200 hours (local time) and 1300 hours (local time).
• On Monday (12 January), Nagpur-bound carriageway traffic at Chainage 145.200 (Shahapur Khekdi Village, Chandur Railway) and Chainage 140.500 (Pachod Village, Nandgaon Khandeshwar) will be stopped between 1500 hours (local time) and 1600 hours (local time).
• On Tuesday (13 January), Mumbai-bound traffic at Chainage 150.300 (Deulgaon, Nandgaon Khandeshwar) and Chainage 145.200 (Shahapur Khekdi Village) will be halted between 1200 hours (local time) and 1300 hours (local time), while Nagpur-bound traffic at Chainage 150.300 will be stopped between 1500 hours (local time) and 1600 hours (local time).
