The Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of Eid-Al-Adha celebrations in Hyderabad on Monday (17 June). Large gathering is expected to offer prayers at Mir Alam Tank Eidgah and at Hockey Ground, Masab Tank from 0800 hours to 1130 hours. The following restrictions will remain in place:

• Prayers at Mir Alam Tank Idgah:

1. The vehicles of Namazees coming from Puranapul, Kamatipura, Kishanbagh towards the Hidgah, Mir Alam Tank for prayers will be allowed through Bahadurpura Roads from 0800 hours to 1130 hours and the motorists should park their vehicles at the parking places mentioned below. During this period, the general vehicular traffic will not be allowed towards Eidgah, Tadban and it will be diverted at Bahadurpura Roads towards Kishanbagh, Kamatipura and Puranapul. Parking places Provided at: 1) Parking area at 7.00 Park, 2) Open space Opposite: Masjid Allah-ho-Akbar.
• 2. The vehicles of Namazees coming from Shivarampally & Danamma Huts towards the Eidgah, Mir Alam Tank for prayers will be allowed through Dannama Huts Roads from 0800 hours to 1130 hours and the motorists should park their vehicles at the parking places mentioned below. During this period, the general vehicular traffic will not be allowed towards Eidgah and it will be diverted at Danamma Huts Roads towards Shastripuram, NS Kunta, etc. Parking places provided at: 1) Besides Modern Saw Mill Parking in front of Fidgah main road, 2) Mir Alam filter bed, 3) Open space beside Mir Alam filter bed Opposite: Sufì Cars (for four wheelers) and 4) Yadav Parking (for four wheelers).
• 3. The vehicles of Namazees coming from Kalapather towards the Fidgah, Mir Alam Tank for prayers will be allowed through Kalapather from 0800 hours to 1130 hours and the motorists should park their vehicles at the parking places mentioned below. During this period, the general vehicular traffic will not be allowed towards Eidgah and it will be diverted at Kalapather towards Mochi Colony, Bhadurpura, Shamsheergunj and Nawab Saheb Kunta. Parking places provided at 1) Bhayya Parking, 2) Indian Oil Petrol bunk.
• 4. From 0800 hours to 1130 hours, the heavy vehicles including Road Transport Corporation (RTC) buses coming from Puranapul towards Bhadurpura will be diverted at Puranapul Darwaza towards Jiaguda and City College side till the entire congregation disperses after prayers from the Eidgah.
• 5. From 0800 hours to 1130 hours the heavy vehicles including RTC Buses coming from Shamshabad, Rajendra Nagar and Milardevpally towards Bhadurpura will be diverted at Aramghar Junction towards Shamshabad/Rajendra Nagar/ Milardevpally sides till the entire congregation disperses after prayers from the Fidgah maidan.
• Prayers at Hockey Ground, Masab Tank:
1. General traffic coming from Mehdipatnam towards Road No.1, Banjara Hills via Masab Tank will be diverted through the Masab Tank Flyover, then via Ayodhya Junction (Left turn), Khairtabad, RTA Office, Khairtabad (Left Turn), Taj Krishna Hotel, and so on.

2. Vehicular traffic coming from Lakdikapul towards Masab Tank intending to go towards Road No.1/12 Banjara Hills via Masab Tank will be diverted at Ayodhya Junction towards Nirankari, Khairtabad, VV Statue, Khairtabad RTA Office (Left Turn), Taj Krishna Hotel. Traffic will not be allowed under the Masab Tank Flyover towards Road No.1, Banjara Hills until the completion of prayers.

3. Vehicular traffic coming from Road No. 12, Banjara Hills will not be allowed towards Masab Tank and will be diverted at Road No.1/12 Junction towards Taj Krishna Hotel – Right Turn – RTA Khairtabad. Vehicular traffic coming from NFCL Junction, Panjagutta will not be allowed towards Masab Tank and will be diverted at Taj Krishna Hotel towards Erramanjil Colony, RTA Khairtabad, Nirankari, Lakdikapul, Masab Tank Flyover, Mehdipatnam.
• Prayers in Langar House Area:
1. General traffic coming from Nanal Nagar towards Andhra Floor Mill will be diverted at Balika Bhavan towards Laxminagar.
2. General traffic coming from MD Lines and Balika Bhavan will not be allowed towards Military Hospital and will be diverted at Andhra Floor Mill towards Balika Bhavan or MD Lines.
3. General traffic coming from Langar House will not be allowed towards Military Hospital and will be diverted at Eidgah U-Turn at Military Hospital towards Moghal Ka Nala.
