As per Bengaluru Traffic Police, on Thursday (26 March), a traffic advisory has been issued in view of ongoing metro construction work by BMRCL within the HAL Airport Traffic Police limits, particularly along Varthur Main Road and Marathahalli Bridge.

• The restrictions will be in effect from Friday (27 March) to Sunday (29 March), during 0000 hours to 0300 hours (local time), to facilitate metro-related works and ensure smooth traffic management.
• During this period, vehicular movement along key stretches connecting HAL and Varthur/Whitefield via Varthur Main Road and Marathahalli Bridge will be temporarily restricted.
• Alternative routes have been designated for commuters. Traffic moving from HAL towards Varthur/Whitefield will be diverted via Doddanekundi Junction, Outer Ring Road, and Kundalahalli Main Road.
• Similarly, vehicles travelling from Varthur/Whitefield towards HAL will be redirected through Kundalahalli Junction, Outer Ring Road, and Doddanekundi routes to avoid the restricted corridor.
