As per the Chennai Traffic Police, a traffic advisory has been issued on the Velachery inner ring road on Sunday (01 September) for Times of India’s Happy Street Programme. The advisory will remain in effect from 0600 hours to 0900 hours.
The advisory states the following:
• Vehicles coming from Alandur and GST Road towards Vijayanagar or Taramani will be diverted at Sunshine School Junction to reach Kaiveli Junction and take a U-turn at the junction to railway overbridge towards their destination.
• Vehicles coming from Velachery Vijayanagar or Taramani towards Velachery inner ring road will go through Kaiveli Junction and take a U-turn at the junction towards Velachery inner ring road towards their destination.
