According to reports, the Mumbai Traffic Police (MTP) has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the meeting between French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister (PM) Modi in Mumbai on Tuesday (17 February) at Raj Bhavan (Lok Bhavan) for bilateral discussions and the joint inauguration of the India-France Year of Innovation 2026.
On Tuesday (17 February), heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) will not be allowed on the Western Express Highway between Vakola Flyover and Dahisar Toll Naka from 0800 (local time) to 2100 hours (local time). Trucks, containers, and other commercial vehicles are prohibited on this stretch during the restriction period. Emergency vehicles, including ambulances, fire services, police vehicles, and VVIP security convoys, are exempted.
