As per reports, Dutch farmers’ organization ‘Agractie’ announced on Tuesday (09 April) evening that its members will drive tractors into Brussels on Tuesday (16 April), to protest the European Union’s new regulations surrounding manure. This will be the fourth time this year that farmers demonstrate in the city.

• The protest comes one day before a special European Summit on 17 and 18 April in Brussels.
• Representatives of the group have also announced plans to meet with the European Commissioner for the Environment, Oceans and Fisheries and express dissatisfaction with prevailing EU policies.
