As per reports, the Tohoku Kizuna Festival is scheduled for 23-24 May in Morioka City, marking the 15th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake that took place on 11 March 2011.

The Tohoku Kizuna Festival will be held for the first time in eight years in the centre of Morioka City, with approximately 300,000 people expected to attend the two-day event from six Tohoku prefectures.
