As per the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) bulletin issued on Wednesday (29 October), isolated to scattered rainfall is expected across most regions of Thailand, accompanied by cool morning conditions in the northern and northeastern provinces.
• The Northern provinces, including Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit, and Phetchabun, are expected to witness isolated rainfall and cool morning conditions. Light rain activity will remain confined to select areas, while higher altitudes may continue to experience cooler temperatures.
• The Northeastern region, comprising Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket, and Ubon Ratchathani, is likely to experience scattered rainfall, with light to moderate showers expected through the day.
• The Central region, including Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samut Sakhon, and Samut Songkhram, will see generally cloudy conditions with isolated light rain, particularly during the afternoon hours.
• The Eastern region, particularly Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat, will experience isolated rainfall, with moderate winds and rough seas expected along coastal stretches. Wave heights are likely around 1 metre, rising to over 2 metres offshore during thundershowers.
• The Southern (East Coast) region, covering Chumphon, Surat Thani, and Nakhon Si Thammarat, will experience scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rainfall. Marine conditions are expected to remain moderately rough, with waves reaching 1–2 metres and exceeding 2 metres during thundershowers.
• The Southern (West Coast), including Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, and Krabi, will see scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rainfall. Marine conditions will remain unstable, with waves rising beyond 2 metres in areas of thunderstorm activity.
• The Bangkok Metropolitan Region is expected to remain cloudy with isolated light rainfall during the day, while winds from the northeast will maintain mild conditions across the city and adjoining provinces.
