As per reports, Météo France has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms in the Var department, effective until approximately 2100 hours (local time) on Wednesday (28 August).

The storms may be accompanied by heavy showers, especially in the northern areas of the department, near Trigance. Temperatures will remain high, with maximums reaching 34 degrees Celsius in Puget-Ville and 32 degrees Celsius in Saint-Tropez, Frejus, and Hyeres.
