Thunderstorm warning issued for parts of Malaysia on Thursday (30 April)

As per the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MMD), a thunderstorm warning has been issued for Thursday (30 April), affecting multiple regions across Malaysia.

• Affected areas include parts of Pahang, Rompin, Johor, Mersing in Peninsular Malaysia, as well as widespread locations across East Malaysia, Sarawak, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Lubok Antu, Sibu, Kanowit, Selangau, Mukah, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri, Subis, Beluru, Marudi, Limbang, Sabah, Interior regions, Beaufort, Keningau, Tambunan, West Coast, Papar, Sandakan, Beluran, Kudat, Pitas.
• These areas are expected to experience thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rainfall and strong winds until 0900 hours (local time) on Thursday (30 April).
