As per reports, all schools in Malaysia’s Johor, Melaka and Negri Sembilan will be closed on Wednesday (14 October) due to the presence of toxic haze.
Additionally, Education Minister Datuk Seri Fadhlina Sidek clarified that the closure will also involve schools under the Hulu Langat and Sepang district education offices (PPD) in Selangor; the Kuantan, Pekan and Rompin districts in Pahang; Tawau in Sabah; and Serian, Sri Aman and Lubok Antu in Sarawak. Schools in all other states and districts will operate as usual.
