The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a thunderstorm warning for parts of Malaysia on Thursday (12 February), with thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rainfall and strong winds expected across multiple locations in Perak, Selangor, Sabah, and the Federal Territories.
• Thunderstorm activity is anticipated across Perak (Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang, and Muallim). In Sabah, affected areas include Interior districts of Kuala Penyu and Beaufort. WP Labuan is also included in the warning area.
• A separate advisory covers Selangor (Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling, and Hulu Langat), as well as WP Kuala Lumpur.
