As per reports, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning across parts of Sabah and Sarawak on Friday (20 March), valid until 1200 hours (local time).

• Affected regions in Sarawak include Kuching (Kuching and Lundu), Samarahan (Samarahan and Asajaya), Sarikei (Sarikei and Meradong), and Mukah (Tanjung Manis, Daro, Matu and Dalat).
• In Sabah affected regions include Tawau and Semporna districts.
• The warning indicates that thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and strong winds are expected in multiple areas across both states.
