As per reports, the Thessaloniki Metro is scheduled to resume normal operations on Saturday (20 June) following a 21-day suspension of passenger services that began on 29 May. The closure was implemented to facilitate inspections and testing associated with the integration of the metro extension to Kalamaria.
• From 20 June, the main metro line connecting New Railway Station and Nea Elvetia is scheduled to operate daily from 0515 hours local time (0215 hours UTC) to 2300 hours local time (2000 hours UTC).
• Passengers holding personalized travel cards with active 30-day, 90-day, or 180-day travel packages during the suspension period from 29 May to Friday (19 June) may apply for balance restoration. The process will be available from Saturday (20 June) at the ticket offices of New Railway Station, Venizelou, Agia Sofias, 25th March, and Nea Elvetia stations.
