As per reports, following an unsuccessful meeting held on Tuesday afternoon (06 February), the bus drivers in São Luís will continue the strike through Wednesday (07 February).

• Although discussions included proposals and partial progress regarding salary adjustments and food ticket benefits, no final consensus was achieved. A subsequent meeting is anticipated next Thursday (08 February) to resume negotiations.
• The ongoing disagreement prompted the Labor Court to mandate that at least 50% of the regular fleet must be in operation on the Island of São Luís.
• Despite the court’s directive, the Road Workers Union, is yet to comply with the prescribed circulation requirements.
