As per reports, terrorists attacked a passenger bus on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway near Mangochar tehsil of Kalat district, Balochistan, on Friday (31 January) night. 17 casualties have been reported in the attack.

• Clashes between the security forces and the militants continued throughout the night, after which the terrorists escaped.
• A clearance operation was done in the area while traffic on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway has been restored.
