According to the Hong Kong Transport Department, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in parts of Ap Lei Chau and Aberdeen to facilitate events associated with the Ap Lei Chau Hung Shing Festival 2026 from 1400 hours to 1700 hours (local time) on Sunday (15 March) and Wednesday (01 April).

• During the restriction period, several roads in Ap Lei Chau and Aberdeen will be intermittently closed to all vehicular traffic, while additional ad-hoc traffic and public transport arrangements may be implemented depending on crowd and traffic conditions.
• Hung Shing Street, Main Street Ap Lei Chau, Shan Ming Street, San Shi Street, Wai Fung Street, Wah Ting Street, Chengtu Road, Aberdeen Main Road, Old Main Street Aberdeen, and Kwun Hoi Path will be intermittently closed to all vehicular traffic from 1400 hours to 1700 hours on Sunday (15 March) and Wednesday (01 April).
• Police may implement additional traffic control measures including further road closures, traffic diversions, and alterations or suspension of public transport services depending on real-time crowd and traffic conditions in the area.
