As per reports, road works have commenced on Rectory Road in Ramelton, leading to the closure of the section between the Cul na Cille housing estate and the Church Street junction until 24 October.

• The closure is scheduled to remain in effect from Monday (13 October) to 24 October, operating daily between 0900 hours local time (0800 hours UTC) till 1700 hours local time (1600 hours UTC).
• During this period, vehicular access will be restricted to ensure the safe completion of infrastructure works. However, local and pedestrian access will continue to be maintained throughout the project.
• The road improvement works are expected to enhance surface quality and improve road safety in the area once completed.
