As per reports, the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has announced a temporary closure of State Route 15 (West Henrietta Road) between Commerce Drive and the Marketplace Mall entrance in Henrietta, New York, to facilitate a railroad track replacement and paving project from Friday (10 July) until Monday (13 July).
• The closure is scheduled to begin at 0900 hours local time (1300 hours UTC) on Friday (10 July) and is expected to remain in effect until 1500 hours local time (1900 hours UTC) on Monday (13 July), subject to weather conditions and construction progress.
• During the closure, all traffic along the affected section of West Henrietta Road will be diverted using designated detour routes. Motorists travelling north of State Route 15 are advised to follow posted detours via Calkins Road, Hylan Drive, and State Route 252 near Jefferson Road.
• Motorists travelling south of State Route 15 are advised to use State Route 252 near Jefferson Road, Hylan Drive, Interstate 390 South, and State Route 253 near Lehigh Station Road.
• The New York State Department of Transportation has also reminded motorists that speeding fines are doubled in active work zones. Construction activities remain weather dependent and may be adjusted if conditions change.
