As per reports, the Central Railway will suspend services for over five hours on the harbour and trans-harbour lines for maintenance work on Sunday (31 December).

• The Harbour Line services towards CSMT Mumbai Station from Panvel Station between 1033 to 1549 hours and to Panvel/Belapur Stations from CSMT Mumbai Station from 0945 to 1512 hours will remain suspended.
• The trans-harbour services towards Thane from Panvel between 1102 to 1553 hours, and to Panvel from Thane between 1001 to 1520 hours will also remain suspended.
• On the Central Line, the Matunga to Mulund fast routes in both directions will be diverted onto the slow line, stopping as per their schedules, with an expected delay of 15 minutes or more between 1105 to 1555 hours.
• During the block, special local trains will operate between CSMT Mumbai and Vashi, and in the trans-harbour line services will run between Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations.
