The Meteorological Department of Thailand has forecast summer storms to occur in parts of upper Thailand on Monday (26 February). Thunderstorm, strong wind gusts and hail along with lightning is likely in some parts of the region while daytime is expected to be hot and hazy with maximum temperatures reaching up to 33 to 37 degrees Celsius. Locations affected include Loei, Nong Khai, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Bueng Kan, Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima.
